Cast iron scrap supplied to foundries, steel plants, and iron casters as a high-carbon iron raw material. Sourced from automotive engine blocks, machinery housings, pipe fittings, brake discs, and industrial offcuts. Cast iron's high carbon content (typically 2.1–4.5%) makes it an essential charge material for cupola furnaces and induction furnaces, reducing energy consumption and improving melting efficiency. Material is sorted to remove non-ferrous contaminants, graded by size and type, and inspected before dispatch. Available in mixed grades including heavy cast iron, broken castings, and clean borings. Supplied with quality documentation and pre-shipment inspection on request.
